Duration and Eligibility
Total Duration: The MBBS program in Russia typically lasts 6 years.
- Years 1–2: Basic medical sciences — anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology and related subjects.
- Years 3–5: Clinical training — internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and other postings in affiliated hospitals.
- Year 6: Internship / supervised clinical practice.
NMC expects about 54 months of academics plus 12 months of internship. Classroom teaching at listed faculties is in English. Patient communication in later years needs Russian.
Eligibility
To apply for MBBS in Russia for Indian students you need:

• 50% PCB for General; 40% for SC/ST/OBC (current NMC floor)
